Change of Status Information

Inactive or Drops:

All changes must be submitted by 15th of month before the change occurs.  Please see the Full Policy

Example: In order to drop June 1st, submit your change of status online by May 15th to keep from being billed for the month of June.

Service hours are not prorated when a member goes inactive unless they are inactive during the month we host a meet, in which case, they are not responsible for the required hours for that meet. All other hours remain, regardless of whether or not the member is inactive for a period of time.

How to check your Volunteer Hours:

  • Login to your account on the SUNN website (sunn.org)
  • Click on the "My Account" link on the left side of the page 
  • Click on "Account Info"
  • Click on the "Service Hours" Tab 

Please note that the Inactive Status Policy has changed as of June 1st, 2018. To see the details of the new policy, please see the policy on our website.

There will be no proration of service hours for people who drop unless there is a doctors note stating that the swimmer can no longer swim. Unfulfilled service hours will be billed within two days of submitting the change of status form. Any hours worked through the end of the month can be refunded if requested (3.0% service fee will be charged) and only once those hours are complete.

Changes go into effect around the 26th of the month. After that time, if you are dropping, you will not be able to access your account. You will not receive a confirmation.
