We conduct swim evaluations on a weekly basis. Please complete the form below and the Team Manager will email you to set up a date and time to be evaluated.
SUNN Swimming is a year-round team that consists of approximately 400 athletes between the ages of 5 and 18. Athletes are instructed in each of the competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle) as well as their related starts, turns, and finishes. SUNN programs offer a fun, friendly, and positive environment emphasizing correct technique for the long-range success of the swimmer.
Regular, year-round attendance is encouraged in all groups, and participation in scheduled competition is strongly encouraged for most groups. SUNN athletes are assigned to practice groups which are based on age, skill level and goals in the sport. Placement into a group is determined by the coaching staff. Group Move-ups will be determined by the coach of the respective group based on progress and skill level.

Evaluation Day:
- As part of the evaluation – all swimmers will be asked to swim the 4 strokes to the best of their ability
- In order to participate in our program, all swimmers must be able to swim across the pool in any depth of water unassisted without stopping, side breathe/blow bubbles, and know at least 2 swim strokes.
- What to Bring to Evaluation
- Swimsuit, goggles and a towel
- After the evaluation - the coach will let you know your group placement. If your swimmer was assigned a practice group, the Office Administrator will email you with club details and guide you through the registration process.

How can my swimmer be evaluated?
Answer: SUNN offers swimmer evaluations year-round. You can and sign up HERE. for an evaluation. An Office Administrator will email you with upcoming evaluations dates.
How do I register to join SUNN?
Answer: When you go through an evaluation, the coach will tell you what practice group you swimmer can join. You will then be contacted by the Office Administrator with club details and they will walk you through the registration process.
How do I set up an account with SUNN?
Answer: SUNN will provide you with a registration link. Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes. You will set up your account through SportsEngine. Once you complete the process SUNN will approve your registration and you will then have access to your account. You will begin to receive SUNN emails.
What are the fees to join SUNN?
Answer: SUNN has an annual registration fee, there is a monthly fee for all groups and a USA Swimming registration fee. The Office Administrator can send you our current fee structure. - email - [email protected]
How do I pay for my membership?
Answer: You pay the registration fee at the time of registration and then on the 1st of every September (this is an annual registration fee). Your monthly fee will be charged in your SUNN Account on the first of every month.
